Coco and the Butterfields – They’re described as a five-strong major kick on the South East music scene – a truly colourful, energetic & crowd-stamping act to be reckoned with, performing their own unique fusion of Folk, Pop and Hip Hop, or “Fip Fok”.
Orfila – They are an acoustic folk trio consisting of siblings hailing from Folkestone in Kent. “The most stunning angelic harmonies I have heard in a long while…an amazing band I could never tire of seeing live!”- GIGgle Pics Kent Gig Reviews.
Claire & Paul – An acoustic blues/jazz duo based in Canterbury. Influences include Robert Johnson, She Keeps Bees, PJ Harvey, Lightnin’ Hopkins.
ALive is a social enterprise which organises live music fundraising events for various local, national and international charities.
Nearly £3500 has been raised for 8 different charities over the 10 events since May 2013.
The events are live music based, drawing talent from both the local and student communities.
In collaboration with Kent RaG and Canterbury Homeless Outreach. The latter will be doing a skills audition for their committee.
