We are pleased to announce that, after conducting a staff survey about local charities, Christ Church University have decided to present Catching Lives at cheque to the sum of £951.
The cheque was presented to Catching Lives’ chair of trustees James Duff by the University’s vice chancellor, Mr Rama Thirunamachandran.
James says ”We at Catching Lives are grateful to the staff of Christ Church for choosing us as the recipient of this money.
As an independent charity we rely on donations like this to run our day centre for homeless people and we are proud to have such a strong relationship with the staff and students of Christ Church. Many students, both placements and volunteers come and help out at the centre and we hope this will continue, as our students are a vital and integral part of our service.”
