Hours: 37.5 hrs per week (normally 8.30 – 5.00 but some weekend and evening work will be required)
Salary £19,000

CatchingLives are seeking to employ a Project Worker to join the current team and assist the Project Leader and General Manager delivery of services at Canterbury Open Centre. This is a varied, challenging and rewarding job that involves that involves working with the rough sleepers and homeless of Canterbury. The ideal applicant should have a relevant, professional qualification in the health and social care field and have experience in assessment and liaison with both statutory and voluntary organisations. The post also requires good communication skills and the ability to use Word and Excel. However, we are willing to consider applicants with little or no experience if they can demonstrate the motivation and dedication that this role requires. The post is subject to Enhanced DBS checks as the successful applicant will be working closely alongside our clients, some of whom have complex support needs.
The successful candidate will be expected to start immediately.
