CatchingLives are seeking to employ a person to fill in for our Mentoring Co-ordinator during their maternity absence. Our mentoring scheme has been set up to assist clients who have moved off the street and into accommodation, during the difficult, initial adjustment period. This is a varied, challenging and rewarding role that involves working with the General Manager to recruit, train and support mentors in their work with clients moving from homelessness into accommodation.
The ideal applicant should have some knowledge of mentoring and what it involves and some experience of delivering training but the successful candidate have a handover period with our current co-ordinator, so a lack of such experience isn’t a barrier. The post also requires good verbal and written communication skills. The post is subject to Enhanced DBS checks as the successful applicant will have some contact with our clients, some of whom have complex support needs.
The successful candidate will be expected to start during the week beginning 12th February 2018.
To apply, contact firstname.lastname@example.org for a copy of the role description. On receiving and reading this you should submit a CV and covering letter (which should set out, in detail, why you should be shortlisted for interview) to the same email address.
Catchinglives are an equal opportunities employer and we actively encourage applications from all sections of the community, this includes anyone with a criminal record, people with young children and people with disabilities.
