Catching Lives is recruiting for Evening and Overnight Project Workers to assist with the Canterbury Emergency Winter Provision (CEWP)
Hours: 11 hour overnight shifts (9.45pm – 8.45am) and 5.5 hour evening shifts (4.30pm – 10pm)

CatchingLives are seeking to recruit a number of Project Workers to help provide support for this years’ Canterbury Emergency Winter Provision (CEWP). This will be replacing the Canterbury Community Shelter, this year, because of Covid-19 restrictions.
CEWP will house people who are rough sleeping in the Canterbury area, from 1st December 2020 until 28th February 2021.They will be placed in accommodation allows each person to have their own sleeping space. It is a varied, challenging and rewarding job that involves being responsible for the smooth running of shifts during the evening at Canterbury Open Cenre or at the overnight sleeping venue. You will be working with vulnerable adults (which include those with mental health and substance misuse issues). Experience with the client group is preferred but not essential, as training will be given. Each overnight shift is (9.45pm – 8.45am) and each evening shift is (4.30pm – 10pm). The posts are subject to Enhanced DBS checks.
The rate for the work is £10.00 per hour.
