EAT Help Support Catching Lives' Winter Shelter

With the rolling night Canterbury Community Shelter set to commence on the 20th December, Catching Lives would like to thank the owners of EAT and their Canterbury store for offering to donate 10p from every Christmas sandwich as well as donating their daily unsold produce. Both of which will be used to support the shelter helping provide extra food and comfort for Canterbury’s homeless over the freezing weeks ahead.

Charity Manager, Ewan Flack says, 'EAT
describes itself as a small family run company but they have shown the level of support we would have anticipated from a large corporate business.  Their support will not only help provide food and nourishment to our homeless visitors this Christmas but throughout next year at the Canterbury Open Centre we run by Canterbury East Station.  The additional financial support, with the added gift aid, will help us directly tackle homelessness in the Canterbury Area and I am certain they, like other Canterbury businesses and residents will see the benefit.  We hope many other companies will also step forwards and help us make a difference '.
