Many thanks to City of Canterbury Chamber Choir, conductor Peter Futcher and accompanist Ed Kemp-Luck for their magical spellbinding concert yesterday. The transfixed audience were treated to a couple of hours of Christmas music, traditional carols and readings from this talented group in the beautiful (and warm) setting of St Peter’s Anglican Church.
The concert had many highlights one of those being when the choir invited the children to join them for Away in a Manger. Many thanks also to Reverand Jo Richards and all at the church for hosting this wonderful festive event and Sainsbury’s St Dunstans who donated the mince pies that were devoured during the interval. All proceeds will go towards Catching Lives and the services we provide for the homeless of Canterbury. Once we know the total that was raised we will post it on here.
