A one year post has been funded by Canterbury City Council to enable Catching Lives to engage with our growing EEA migrant client group. In 2013, 48 EEA nationals accessed our facilities, growing to 86 in 2014. In the main, the clients are Polish, but we have a range of individuals including Slovakian, Czech, Lithuanian, Bulgarian and Romanian.
The post holder must be able to speak and write Polish, fluently. We also require that they have an awareness of the customs and culture of the country. It would be of particular advantage to the applicant if they are multi-lingual, with some knowledge of Russian and/or other EU languages. The post holder must also have a good standard of written and spoken English.
To apply, contact firstname.lastname@example.org for a copy of the role description. On receiving and reading this you should submit a CV and covering letter (which should set out, in detail, why you should be shortlisted for interview) to the same email address.
Please note that it will be of use to the shortlisted candidates if they can visit the centre prior to interview to get a clear idea of the environment and requirements of the role.
Catchinglives are an equal opportunities employer and we actively encourage applications from all sections of the community, this includes anyone with a criminal record.
Previous applicants need not apply.
