Hello to all of our supporters and stakeholders and welcome to our newly updated website. We have laboured mightily, over the last few months, with assistance of Think, the agency we have worked with over the last few years (thinkagency.co.uk), to develop a site that is very content driven; to enable us to more quickly and easily update you with the latest news on the work we are doing with our clients.
We are also intending to publish regular blogs written by staff, volunteers, clients, trustees, placements…..in fact anyone who wants to write anything about us or has an opinion about us. This way we hope to contribute to the ongoing debate in our society about how best to assist the most vulnerable. We hope to have guest writers from all sections of the political spectrum to provoke discussion and debate.
The new site has a section for the increasingly successful Canterbury Community Shelter and we will keep all of our partners updated with the preparations for this winter’s project. We will be working with many of the local churches as we have in past years. I can also announce that Jon Limebury, last year’s shelter co-ordinator, has confirmed that he is on board for this year. He is spending the summer resting after his Morocco and back cycling exertions, but is already involved in the early prep work.
Please feel free to look around and pass on any comments that you have. As with everything that we do, we couldn’t do it without your support.
