A Revamped Book Palace
At long last Catching Lives fundraising charity shop, The Book Palace, is getting a facelift making it more visible and helping attract more book lovers and donations of books.
If you don’t know where The Book Palace is look no further than 32 Palace Street, Canterbury. If that is not enough find it on Google Maps here or if you know Canterbury well it is opposite the Crooked House and just around the corner form the Kings School gate.
About The Book Palace
Run by the wonderful Brenda and her team of tireless volunteers the bookshop helps generate much needed funds for Catching Lives and the work it does tackling homelessness in Canterbury and the surrounding area.
Supported generously through donations of contemporary, reference, academic and historic books by the public the Book Palace is a treasure-trove for book lovers looking for a bargain. From the latest best sellers to a vintage Dickens this is the place for you.
Changes
From now on you can make donations to Catching Lives in person at the Book Palace, whether in cash or by cheque or you can pick up direct debit and standing order details directly.
