Volunteers

Charities such as Catching Lives rely on volunteers to carry out their work and make a difference. In a perfect world there would be suitable funding to recruit people to work as full-time employees, but we don’t live in this world or even in times where there is an abundance of government funding or plentiful wider donations. As such, at Catching Lives we are helped by an extremely supportive group of volunteers, including students, retired people and even nuns, who help us run the centre on a daily basis. Without their support, plus that of new recruits, we would not exist.

How Can I Volunteer?

If you have time to help us at the centre, whether for a few hours a week or even more, please contact us via the contact form below, telling us about yourself and how you can support us. Please see the adjacent vacancies for volunteer positions.

Wider Help...

If you have some specialist skills and resources which may benefit us please also contact us using the form below. We will do our very best to come back to you, ideally immediately.

Fundraisers

Perhaps what we need most are fundraisers and people who can rally support from the local community and businesses. If you think you can help in this way, again, please use the form below.

Visiting The Canterbury Open Centre

If you are thinking of getting involved with Catching Lives and want to find out more you are welcome to come along to the centre and see in the flesh the work we do. Again, please use the form below and choose the suitable drop-down option.
