You can now read our report on last winter’s Canterbury Community Shelter here
As always we send our thanks to all who were involved in the running of the shelter, including all staff and volunteers at Catching Lives, our seven church venues, and others from the local community such as those who have donated items or raised money in order for us to provide this lifesaving service to so many people.
The volunteers on their own accounted for 1910 hours of work- we simply could not run the shelter without your hard work.
The shelter ran from 1st December 2019- 23rd March 2020 and during this time 1298 bed spaces were occupied.
Of the 71 different people who stayed in the shelter, 26 had a positive housing outcome which equates to 37% of our guests.
