About Catching Lives Books
Catching Lives Books is a second-hand bookshop, run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers in order to raise funds to support the homeless people of Canterbury.
It occupies one of the most photographed building in Canterbury after the Cathedral, The Crooked House (also known as Sir John Boys House) which is a delightfully skewed 17th century half-timbered three story building at the extreme end of Palace Street. It has projecting jetties over Palace Street and Kings Street and is opposite the famous Kings School.
Our stock comes entirely from donations and we welcome all used books in good condition, and we can come and collect if you give us a ring.
Do pay us a visit. We are open seven days a week from 10 am.
