Catching Lives – lyrics
When you go home tonight
And everything’s alright
Spare a thought for the ones stuck outside
When you turn on your tv just to see what you might see
Take a look at the ones stuck outside

Cos it’s so so cold on the street
And you never know who you might meet
There are people out there carrying a heavy load
And could use a hand to help them down the road

When you’re sitting down to eat
Could be veggie could be meat
Give a thought to the ones stuck outside
When you’re ready for that drink
Take a moment just to think
Spare a thought for the ones stuck outside

The street is a hard place to be
You can say thank God it’s them out there not me
There are people out there carrying a heavy load
And could use a hand to help them down the road

Chorus
Catching lives is easy if we only give a damn
You can do what you do and you can do what you can
There’s a little bit of all of us that needs a helping hand
So let’s get catching lives because we can
So let’s get catching lives because we can

When Jack Frost nips your nose
And that winter cold wind blows
Give a thought for the one’s stuck outside
When you’re tucked up snug in bed
And you rest your weary head
Say a prayer for the ones stuck outside

Just imagine having no place to go
Just imagine losing everything you know
There are people out there carrying a heavy load
And could use hand to help them down the road

Chorus
Catching lives is easy if we only give a damn
You can do what you do and you can do what you can
There’s a little bit of all of us that needs a helping hand
So let’s get catching lives because we can
So let’s get catching lives because we can
