We are delighted to announce that Catching Lives has won the Kent Community Charity of the Year 2019. This marks the third time we have won this award in the five years they have been running.
Members of the Catching Lives team attended the gala evening on Thursday 13th June, held at the Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone and collected the award (pictured below).
We send our congratulations to all the brilliant charities who made the finals, including the overall winner of Kent Charity of the Year- Oasis Domestic Abuse Service.
We would like to thank every single person who supports us as without the help of our local community we simply would not be able to offer the services that we do. This includes our volunteers, such as those who help in the kitchen, with activities, fundraising, our bookshop, and many more. We would also like to thank all of the churches who support our winter night shelter, everyone who has undertaken fundraising for us, and all the businesses and organisations that have chosen us as their charity of the year and/or have supported us in others ways. Thank you all!
We also send our thanks to everyone at the Kent Charity Awards, including the sponsors, for organising such an enjoyable evening. Details about the awards can be found here- https://kentcharityawards.com/
