New roles to extend homelessness and domestic violence support in Canterbury
Catching Lives is hiring a Tenancy Sustainment Coordinator to extend our work in the community, thanks to a grant from the Government's Ending Homelessness in Communities Fund (EHCF).
This full-time post will support people as they make the move from homelessness into housing, meeting people at the day centre, in their homes, or in other community settings. The post-holder will deliver practical and relational support to help people settle into their new home and neighbourhood, to manage their tenancy, and to connect with new groups or activities so that social isolation is reduced.
Rising Sun are also recruiting as part of the EHCF project. Their High Support Needs Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (HSN IDVA) will deliver a weekly drop-in and work closely with the team at Catching Lives, supporting clients with complex needs who are affected by domestic abuse to make informed and safe choices and to move forward.
