Team Catching Lives is returning to take on the Kent Charity Trek this year, raising money to support people who are homeless.

Organised by Kent Search and Rescue, the Trek was set up to raise money for Kent-based charities like Catching Lives. The challenge takes you across either 25km or 50km of the Kent countryside, and participants raise money for their chosen charity through a dedicated fundraising page.

This year, our Chief Executive Tasmin is returning to the Trek to take on the full 50km challenge! She has been training since January in preparation for the walk from Chatham to Ashford.
Tasmin said "This is my first ultra-marathon walk, and I'm dreading the early morning start, but knowing I am raising money to support our work with people who are homeless will be the motivation I need to get me through 50km."
This year, Tasmin is joined by Reverend Jo Richards and her husband Jim, who are also taking on the challenge. Reverend Jo said "Raising money for the work of Catching Lives is so important, to support the incredible work they do for our street community here in Canterbury. As Chaplain to the homeless, it is the very least I can do to raise the profile of this highly valued service."
A group from Morgan Sindall Construction will be taking on the Trek to support Catching Lives this year, as well as a previous volunteer, Steph.

Thank you to everybody who has donated so far, and a special thanks to those trekking for Catching Lives this year. We are wishing you all good luck for the big day!
