We're Hiring

Congratulations to our colleagues Paul and Greg, who are both starting new jobs this summer! As they move on with our thanks and best wishes, it's time for Catching Lives to recruit a new Project Worker to join the team.

This is a full-time role, covering Saturday to Wednesday from 8.30am-4.30pm, and the salary is £25,522.

Project Workers are responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the centre and drop-in services. The role includes practical tasks (e.g. reception desk, access to services like laundry and bag storage, sorting donations, keeping the space clean and tidy), alongside one-to-one support work with clients. Project Workers are always on shift with at least one other member of staff. They coordinate with colleagues, volunteers and external partners to deliver a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment in which people get the help that they need to make positive changes and move on in their lives.

The job is open to anyone with the experience and skills listed in the Person Specification (see recruitment pack below), whether gained through paid or voluntary roles. The post is subject to DBS and reference checks. Please download the Recruitment Pack for more details. We welcome applications from people with lived experience of challenges such as homelessness and recovery from addiction. We value experience from either voluntary or paid roles.
